A COLLECTION DONE IN COLLABORATION WITH SWAROVSKI THAT TAKES JOY IN FEMININITY, FLOWERS, AND SELF-EXPRESSION
As part of my process, I hand dyed my own fabric to deliver specific shades that were more appealing to the eye than store bought fabric. I utilized laser cutting along with a heat press to adhere the hot fix crystals to streamline the process. My intention was for a modular, unit system that could be mixed and matched in a retail context. I created a universal silver cuff that could be used as ear cuffs or clipped onto a specific chain to allow for maximum options of wearability.
Pathside is a collection based around a statement neckpiece that takes joy in femininity, flowers, and self-expression. It combines the structure and stability of a chain with the softness of chiffon flowers and the brilliance of the Swarovski crystals. The flowers are a modular system that allows for playfulness and flexibility. Take a necklace from subtle to glam by pinching more flowers onto the base chain then carry the look forward by wearing the flowers as ear cuffs or pinch them into your hair. Tuck as many as you want behind your ear; these are flowers that will never wilt.
